The Tennessee AquariumBack to other Famous Aquariums The Tennessee Aquarium is credited as being the largest public aquarium in the Southern states of America and can be located in Chattanooga , Tennessee . There are a large number of displays all which feature an exciting
natural wonders and some are even interactive. The exhibits include
a cascading waterfall, a lush mountain forest where river otters
can be seen frolicking, an enormous 65-pound catfish, an exhibit
on the Amazon River where piranhas dart among anaconda and boa constrictors.
Even the opportunity to see first-hand American alligators, or sharks
and sting-rays in the Gulf of Mexico aquarium. Ticket can be purchased daily at the box office from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily. The aquarium is closed for Thanksgiving and Christmas day.
Please note
that during peak trading hours prams may not be used in the aquarium for
safety reasons. Consequently, visitors with be provided with a single backpack
which can accommodate most young children. If you have any further enquiries
these should be directed to the information service when you arrive. There
is also a self-guided tour of the aquarium which will takes up to two hours
